Running across the Namib
The Herald's editor Bill Martin and executive picture editor Pete Holdgate will run 120km across the Namib desert in a 24-hour period between April 4 and April 11.
It is a journey on foot that will see them start at the gravel plains of Brandberg and finish on the beach on Africa's infamous Skeleton Coast.
The duo's wish is to raise as much cash as they possibly can for St Luke's Hospice.
To make a donation, please go to
The Desert Run minisite
or send a cheque made out to St Luke's Hospice to: The Editor, The Herald, 17 Brest Road, Derriford, Plymouth, PL6 5AA.
